Talent Is Overrated – Book signing and talk at the Juilliard School bookstore

The folks at the Juilliard Store in Manhattan have very kindly invited me to sign books and speak on Sunday, March 4, at 3:30 pm. I hope you’ll stop by. Here’s their site, describing the event.
On that weekend and for the following five days, the Juilliard campus will be filled with young applicants who are there to audition. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to meeting some of these incredible kids (and their incredible parents).
The bookstore reports that Talent Is Overrated, which they began carrying only last November, is one of their best selling titles. That fact interests me because the book was originally positioned for business readers. But increasingly it’s being discovered by readers in music, sports, medicine, and other fields, and also by students and their parents generally; sales increase at graduation time.

When: Sunday, March 4, 2012, 3:30 pm.
Where: The Juilliard Store, 144 W. 66th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave., New York City
